The Guy In A Wheelchair With Long Hair
I went to the grocery store this morning and had a good laugh like I
haven't had in a long time! As I was getting into the store, a woman,
in her mid-30's, approached me, gave me a big hug, and said "It's so
good to finally meet you John".
perfect stranger. I said "errr, my name's Nic, not John, sorry". She
started to turn beet red, obviously embarassed. She explained that she was meeting someone who said he'd be easy to
spot, as he would be "the guy in a wheelchair with long hair"... That's "my" line, that's what I usualy tell people when they are
meeting me for the first time! I think I'll need to add qualifiers
now, like what colour shirt I'm going to be wearing, or something... In retrospect, I should have hung around to meet John, perhaps have
our photo taken together! And I wonder if John laughed as hard as I did when that woman,
whatever her name is, told him about hugging me! LOL
